Welcome, Spring!

Finally! Spring is here.  For some of our more 'warm-climate-challenged' customers, it may still be nippy, but it won't be long until we're all enjoying warm nights outside - watching ball games, talking on the porch or whatever our idea of a perfect summer night may be.

Alot of folks don't know this, but our industry association is more than just "Hearth" products, it's actually the 'HPBA:' Hearth, Patio, and Barbecue Association.  (In fact, their members are helping to get grills to send to the victims of the storm-ravaged states in the South, to help them during this time).

So, now that spring is here, if you have any questions about BBQ grilling, check out HPBA's Barbeque page.  (They spell it 'barbecue,' so I take it they're not from the heart of pork-grilling country)    :)

They have tips on: Choosing the right grill; Fun facts about barbecue; Grill safety; Recipes and more.

Enjoy, and have a fun and safe grilling season!

As for the "P" in HPBA (Patio), if you haven't been out shopping for patio furniture in awhile, let's just say you may be in for a surprise:
Backyard furniture more comfortable, stylish than ever

Thanks as always for your business, and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need help with your stove.

And why should I 'Early Buy?'

Our annual EARLY BIRD KIT Sale is going on now!

Several years ago, we put together a few maintenance kits for some of our stove models, and the feedback from our customers was tremendous.  Since then, we've been adding more kits for more models, and now virtually every stove that we currently manufacture (and even some discontinued models) have these maintenance kits available for purchase.

We call them "Early Bird Kits," because we normally make them available in the off-season, so homeowners can 'get a jump' on their stove maintenance and upkeep before it gets cold again.

What's in a Early Bird Kit?  For our wood models, gaskets are included and (for our new non-catalytic models) fiber board is also available.  For our pellet models, you can likewise choose between a 'Gasket Kit,' which includes the commonly-replaced gaskets, and an 'Overhaul Kit,' which includes gaskets and replaceable electronics, such as an auger motor and blowers.

These kits are great for pre-season maintenance, or to have around in case you have any emergency needs in-season.
AND, you get Free Shipping and Big Savings!

Still Made in the U.S.A.!

We've noticed a recent trend in folks looking to buy products that are Made in U.S.A.

In fact, even has a web page dedicated to it (we've asked them to update it to include us).

We've been a "U.S.A. Company" since Bob and Ron England started England's Stove Works in 1975, and we've always been proud to provide jobs and quality product from our home in Central VA.

So the next time anyone you know is looking for a great wood or pellet stove that's made in America, by Americans, with American engineering and on-site Customer Support, ask them to give us a look:

And if they (or you) have any questions as to how much money you can save with a wood stove, multi-fuel (i.e. corn) or pellet stove, check out this neat calculator from the HPBA:

HPBA Fuel Efficiency Calculator for Zone Heating

Until next time...thanks again for being a great customer!
